Studying abroad in the US provides students with more opportunities to research, be taught and trained in one of the most prestigious education systems in the world with a system of good universities recognized globally. The Tet Study Abroad Program is a good stepping stone in your study abroad with useful experiences and lessons about the prospect of studying abroad in the US as well as providing essential skills of a leader from a global perspective and mindset.
Program Overview
The Tet Study Abroad Program is an annual activity of American Study for students from 12 to 18 years old, providing Vietnamese students with a valuable opportunity to explore the US education system and inspire them to study abroad.
This year's program is scheduled to take place from January 23 to February 2, 2020 with many interesting activities, promising to bring students a useful and meaningful study abroad trip.

The Tet study abroad program creates an environment for students to:
Study with American teachers and students at Andover High School, Massachusetts
Visit and experience the learning environment at Harvard and MIT
Develop global thinking and leadership skills through diverse activities, training programs and exercises
Be nurtured to become a future leader to contribute to the prosperous development of society, the country and the world.
Student activities
Before studying abroad:
Be supported with visa procedures and interview training for a smooth interview
Intensive English training: With a team of domestic and native teachers, American Study will provide intensive English training for students in the shortest time with the highest efficiency. Students can choose their own schedule and teachers to suit their level and conditions.
During the study abroad
Field of study: During 10 days in Boston, students will study with direct instruction from Harvard and MIT lecturers not only through seminars, knowledge classes as well as skill classes, but also improve their understanding through visits to famous landmarks and museums here. They also have a group working environment, confidently expressing themselves with international students.
Seminar on American Culture and Society:
After arriving in the US, students will attend orientation classes to provide knowledge about American culture, society, and lifestyle. The program is taught by experienced and reputable lecturers to help students learn about the American education system and quickly adapt to American culture.
Boston Tour:
Harvard Museum of Natural History:
Located on the Harvard University campus, the Harvard Museum of Natural History will help students understand more about the connection between nature and humans with the diversity of exhibits: Dinosaur fossils, reptiles, birds, mammals, mineral specimens and world-famous glass flowers.
MIT Museum:
MIT has achieved many successes in the fields of Engineering, Science, Architecture and Technology. Through the MIT tour program, students will experience interesting history lessons and stories about the school's founding history. Students will be inspired and passionate by MIT's global scientific leaders.
Museum of Science:
Boston is also famous for its contributions to the field of science. The science museum here is naturally designed to stimulate students' interests in science with more than 700 exhibits, helping students experience many interesting things about science.
Museum of Fine Arts:
The Museum of Fine Arts is one of the four largest museums in the world, where many types of art from many different countries are gathered. Students will be able to see with their own eyes paintings by many American and European artists, installation art, Asian impressionist works, etc.
Accommodation:
+ Living at the homes of Harvard and MIT lecturers will help students experience American life in the most authentic way. At the same time, it will help students quickly integrate into the living environment, culture, cuisine and perfect their language skills to live and study here in the future.
Transportation:
The transportation between homestay families and the group gathering place will be picked up and dropped off by the students' host family. The group will travel by bus through the study and visit locations.
Mentors
Harvard and MIT graduates volunteer to lead the program from afternoon activities to evening classes, building strong relationships with their students.
Emergency Medical Services
If students become ill during the camp, they will be taken to a local hospital immediately. Students can claim their medical expenses from their insurance upon returning home. American Study staff carry a first aid kit with them at all times in case of emergencies. The health and safety of students is always our top priority.
